could you do it?

Hi I would like you to write a simple response, just reply to these 2 students discussions with 100 words each. please use your own words do not copy any thing from the internet.

please no plagiarism.

here is the first one

Human rights should not have to take a back seat to anything. In my opinion, I am glad to see the US talking to new nations and working together. Egypt and the US both have a common enemy and a mutual hatred for terrorism. To me terrorism is a human rights issue. When people have to live in fear from doing their daily routine because they are scared that a truck will plow into the marketplace or a car bomb will go off there is a human rights issue there. We could not solely fix every nations problems for example the Syrian issue needs to be tackled from within Syria. Just recently a gas attack was responsible for over 100 deaths claimed to be the work of Assad. There is a human rights issue there but that doesn’t mean the US has to rush to the rescue. Another example can be North Korea. North Korea is a literally a ticking time bomb. They have some serious human rights issues because their citizens are poor, hungry, and brainwashed by the government. It is a terrible thing but the US cannot rush in and fix the issue because we cannot afford another conflict. Human rights issues I believe need to be fixed within. Two world leaders meeting on the topic of terrorism does not mean they both do not care about the human rights of other nations.

Here is the second one

I personal think that bringing someone who is a dictator to our country was not the best look on our part. However I think them talking about the security issues is important. Them discussing issues like terrorism is important because that is a major issue in the world right now that will eventually effect everyone. I believe that the more countries that start to take a stand against terrorism the easier it will probably be to fight the issue together. Although human rights are a major importance to our country some times we need to put them aside to get a bigger issues handled. I don’t think that we should partake in the issue as a country but I also don’t believe we should start an issue over human rights with political leaders because trying to take down political leaders in the past has only worked against us. I believe that if there becomes a most present issue of human rights than we will need to take a stand but currently it isn’t affecting our country personally so we should be putting bigger issues like terrorism first. I think eventually there will become an issue with human rights so eventually this will be an issue that needs the time an attention just now isn’t the time for that.

Assignment 2: RA 1: t-Tests

Assignment 2: RA 1: t-Tests

Assignment 2: RA 1: t-Tests

Working with Data in Microsoft Excel

Once again, reading about t-test statistics and descriptive statistics is one thing. Actually using software to compute them requires different skill sets. This assignment is designed to give you the opportunity to practice using Microsoft Excel to compute a t-test and to reinforce your learning of computing descriptive statistics from a previous module. A data set has been presented below for you to use to conduct your analyses. The data set represents the scores from five students who were tested on the same material using three different forms of the test.

Name Test 1 Test 2 Test 3
Lyle 88 92 89
Jorge 78 82 78
Kim 34 87 62
Frances 76 82 32
Tomeca 66 88 64
  • Enter the above data into Microsoft Excel.
  • Using Microsoft Excel, compute the mean for each test, each student, and the sample overall.
  • Using Microsoft Excel, compute the standard deviation for each test, each student, and the sample overall.
  • Using Microsoft Excel, create a correlation table for Test 1, Test 2, and Test 3. Interpret the results.
  • Conduct a t-test to see if there is a significant difference in scores between Test 1 and Test 2. Interpret the results.
  • Include a printout of your Microsoft Excel computations with your paper submission.
  • Explain the concepts of central tendency, variance, standard deviation, correlation, and the difference between the means of two groups.
  • Include a description of the computations you conducted on the data provided for this assignment and your interpretation of the results of your computations. What do you know about this data set? What is something that you do not yet know about this data?

Your final product should include the Microsoft Excel computations and a 3- to 5-page Microsoft Word document, utilizing a minimum of three scholarly sources. Make sure you employ proper grammar and spelling and apply current APA standards for writing style to your work.

Use the following headings and subheadings to organize your paper:

  • Defining and explaining concepts
    • Central tendency
    • Variance
    • Standard deviation
    • Correlation
    • Difference between two group means
  • Computation results
    • Mean

—The Promises and Perils of Nuclear Power

The term nuclear power refers to the production of electrical energy via controlled nuclear reactions. These reactions generate heat that, in turn, creates steam that runs the generators to produce electricity. Approximately 1/8th of the electricity produced in the world is derived from nuclear power. In this assignment, you will analyze the use of nuclear power as an energy resource.

Respond to the following:

  • Discuss the scientific and technical concepts related to the use of nuclear power as an energy resource. Address the following in your response:
    • How is energy released in a nuclear reaction?
    • How are nuclear reactions controlled?
    • What elements are involved in nuclear power production?
    • What nuclear forces are involved?
  • Explain the advantages and disadvantages of nuclear energy, detailing issues related to production, delivery, cost, radiation, air quality, and waste.
  • Identify a country whose electricity production infrastructure relies heavily on nuclear power. Compare and contrast the use of nuclear power in the United States with the use of nuclear power in this country. Provide examples of the use of nuclear power in your community or state.
  • Consider the three major nuclear accidents in the history of the industry: 3-Mile Island (USA), Chernobyl (Ukraine), and Fukushima Dai-Ichi (Japan). What lessons have been learned from these nuclear accidents that can be or have been used to make nuclear power safer?

Write your initial response in 2–3 paragraphs. Apply APA standards to citation of sources.

A manufacturing company is thinking of launching a new product (solution attached)

Assignment Type: Individual Project   Deliverable Length: 2-3 pages
Points Possible: 125   Due Date: 12/5/2010 11:59:59 PM  CT

A manufacturing company is thinking of launching a new product. The company expects to sell $950,000 of the new product in the first year and $1,500,000 each year thereafter. Direct costs including labor and materials will be 55% of sales. Indirect incremental costs are estimated at $80,000 a year. The project requires a new plant that will cost a total of $1,000,000, which will be a depreciated straight line over the next 5 years. The new line will also require an additional net investment in inventory and receivables in the amount of $200,000.

Assume there is no need for additional investment in building the land for the project. The firm’s marginal tax rate is 35%, and its cost of capital is 10%.

To receive full credit on this assignment, please show all work, including formulae and calculations used to arrive at financial values.

Assignment Guidelines:

·         Using the information in the assignment description:

o    Prepare a statement showing the incremental cash flows for this project over an 8-year period.

o    Calculate the payback period (P/B) and the net present value (NPV) for the project.

o    Answer the following questions based on your P/B and NPV calculations:

§  Do you think the project should be accepted? Why?

§  Assume the company has a P/B (payback) policy of not accepting projects with life of over 3 years.

§  If the project required additional investment in land and building, how would this affect your decision? Explain.

Your submitted assignment (125 points) must include the following:

·         A 2–3 page, double-spaced Word document that contains your calculation values, your complete calculations, any formulae that you used, and your answers to the two questions listed in the assignment guidelines.

Module 5: Organizing Adaptive Businesses

Imagine that you’ve just graduated and have been hired to be a manager
for a small startup company called Gear Unlimited. The company
supplies local sports teams with official jerseys and clothing. This
clothing is worn by the players and sold to the fans by the teams.
Gear Unlimited currently has 20 employees but is planning on expanding
to three other cities within the next two years.

The business is brand new and still in the process of making decisions
about how to organize. They’ve seen your educational background and
have asked your opinion on the topic. Specifically, ownership wants
you to pick an organizational structure that you suggest they use and
present that choice to them.

The assignment should be at least a page in length, make use of
Microsoft Power Point, and complete the following:

Components of the Presentation

A title slide.

At least 1 slide that summarizes your choice for the company.

•Choose from geographic, matrix, functional, or divisional
organizational structure.

At least 1 slide that explains the advantages of this structure.

At least 1 slide that explains the disadvantages of this structure.

At least 1–2 slides that explain why you think this is the best choice
and relates that choice to Gear Unlimited’s business.

You will need to be able to apply what you’ve learned about
organizational structures to this example company. There isn’t a wrong
answer here as long as you can justify your choices. Focus on applying
course concepts while including your personal opinion.
